Before we left Strong, I asked the welcome desk for a list of people who had visited Maggie in the 212 days she was admitted. Before you go into the hospital, you have to get a pass. We got to know many of the workers and they always commented on how many names there were and how nice all her visitors were.
The lady who ran the desk gave Nick and I week passes and then monthly passes and always asked how Maggie was doing.
Yesterday, she walked this list up to 8-1200 with a stuffed animal for Maggie and said goodbye with tears in her eyes.
