Maggie has been off the vent for a full week! She’s breathing and coughing like a champ!

There’s not much that is changing with her. She seems more aware when people are in the room, but is spending most of her time sleeping or resting.
She got to take a tour of the NICU floor with her PT/OT team on Wednesday. She enjoyed it so much she fell asleep 😂. But it was so heartwarming to see all the nurses who have cared for her smiling and cheering her on as she was wheeled through the floor.
She’s so peaceful these days. It’s good to see her resting comfortably.
