After a fantastic week, Maggie had some Neuro storming issues Sunday and Monday. Today has been very uneventful!

The blood cultures have shown that she has some kind of fungal infection. We’re not quite sure where it came from so they’re checking it all out and starting meds for that.

Maggie had had more periods of wakefulness today. She’s trying to look when someone touches her or talks to her. We still don’t have evidence that her sight has returned but she’s trying.

We’ve been in the ICU at UAB for 3 weeks now. It feels so long and so short all at the same time. I’m thankful we have such a great hospital so close to home!

Keep praying for our girl. She’s come so far and we want her to keep fighting!
