March 23- Weekly update

Maggie update:

We’ve had a few quiet weeks. Maggie has been stable and calm.

We work with her everyday on following commands and muscle control. She does more for her therapists than she does for us!

She seems to be aware of what is going on around. She usually turns her head and orients herself to noise in the room. She’s moving her arms more and more. Just a little bit at a time.

We got a ramp yesterday! Thanks to OneEighty Church and the sweet guys who came out to install it!

We’ve set up some appointments and have referrals in to get vision evaluated, and then speech evaluated.

It’s easy to get discouraged or down. It’s a huge change of life. But in the middle of it, God shows us continually that He hasn’t forgotten us or Maggie. He continues to be so faithful to us!

Our families are amazing! They help sit with her so we have some freedom to get out of the house for church and other things.
