Her left TCD went up a little this morning from 5.4 to 6.8 while the right went down from 5.5 to 5.2. They are going to hold steady on the Milrinone while also adding Verapamil. The attending wasn’t alarmed by the increase, but he was clearly going to address it. Verapamil seems a longer term solution if support for the TCDs are needed, so this may be overall good news.

She has been on 24-hour pressure support for respiratory, essentially meaning that overall she is breathing on her own. She is still needing some help with the breaths she is taking. But still forward progress.

Her MRI over the weekend showed some things in the vessel walls in her brain that they are taking a deeper look at to see if some additional treatment is needed.

Currently she is scheduled for her shunt on Friday.

Prayer requests:
- They find the best treatment for her TCDs.
- Her body continues to grow stronger overall. The initial thought here comes from the respiratory update. But that overall her body begin to strengthen in the best way for her long-term recovery.
- That the doctors find the best time for the shunt/next procedure to address her ICPs.
- That any potential infection is identified and fully addressed.
- Complete healing. I know we pray for specific items based on today’s updates. But I won’t lose sight that what I’m praying for is complete healing for Maggie. How the Lord chooses to do that, I will trust in Him. But that is my prayer.

I do want to say thank you. I know everyone is happy to ready these updates and join us in these prayer requests. But I also know that we keep talking about us and asking for us. There are SO many people supporting us in SO many ways. Thank you! You all are gifts to us and making a very, very difficult road that much easier to walk. I don’t want to think about what this looks like without you. God bless you!
