This photo popped up on Memories today. When I showed it to Lisa she said, “Sometimes I’m glad we don’t know what’s coming up ahead…”

It was barely a few minutes before that we were sitting at dinner. I don’t say it a lot … for a few different reasons. But I just said, “I miss her, Lisa.” We both lamented a little. We both reflected a little. But Lisa said it best.

“My broken heart is full.”

That. So simple and yet so very accurate.

I can’t imagine wishing this situation on anyone.

But. We are so loved. We are so cared for. Thank you doesn’t begin to say enough. But what I know is this. People often say, “I don’t know how you do it.” I don’t have all the answers. But the two answers I do know are the grace of the Lord and everyone who has loved us, prayed for us, encouraged us, thought of us, and so on and so on.

Thank you. We love you and appreciate you. May the Lord shine His Grace on you in the same way you are a grace to us.
