“If we can see the next step it’s not faith, it’s measured belief.”

I was sent this last week and it hit me hard. I haven’t updated about Maggie much lately because we’ve been trying to figure out next steps. We had another door shut today.

We can’t see the next step but we know that God has already seen the whole path. So we choose to trust that He is good and He is all knowing (from Gresh’ssermon on Sunday).

Maggie continues to be more and more stable. She’s still on the vent and spends most of her time sleeping. But she’s off all the other lines. Her muscles are loose and she looks peaceful. We haven’t had any major medical setbacks in a few weeks. It is so good to see her with no pain or discomfort.

Today she had a music therapist come play and sing some Taylor Swift. Her PT/OT team comes to work with her 2x a week. She is currently sitting in a wheelchair.

Join us in praying for the following things:
1. Complete healing
2. The right next place for her
3. Continued wisdom for us, our social worker, and the Critical Care team.
