We've been enjoying the beautiful weather here in New York- low 80s with low humidity! So Maggie and I spend some time in the afternoons sitting in the shade.
Today she stood with staff support. It was so hard for her to not have the machine. But she did it 3 times. It's so good for her muscles to use them even for a few minutes.
She also had speech therapy. She was spoon fed water, apple juice, and chocolate ice cream! She loved it! She's going to have a swallow test done this week to see if we can introduce more soft foods to her diet!
We're making steps toward finding her the right place in AL.
It's like a puzzle. You get one piece down at a time. Eventually we'll see the whole picture. And in the mean time we are trusting that the Lord is showing us the next piece and where it goes. Trust is easy when you know the end. It's harder to completely trust when you don't know what the end looks like. We know this whole journey has been possible because of God's sustaining grace on our lives.

Prayer requests:
- we clearly know where Maggie is supposed to be
- Maggie continues to progress in gaining consciousness
- continued peace for our family during this.
